As lifelong Mighty Posh supporters of our local team, Peterborough United (the Mighty Posh), It was an honour to step out onto the hallowed turf at their home ground at The Weston Homes Stadium again.
Posh had a bumper crowd of over 10,000 football fans present as myself and Tom (our Managing Director) together with the players walked out of the tunnel onto the pitch. Alas, not as a member of the first team, but as a proud match sponsor on the day as they took on Carlisle United on a lovely sunny bank Friday.
We were joined by clients, prospective clients and friends for a lovely lunch before we went onto the pitch to present the match ball and then returned to our seats to cheer on our players.
Unfortunately, the score didn’t go our way on the day as Posh lost 3 -1 to Carlisle, but a fantastic day was had by all.
The Mighty Posh currently sit 4th in the play-off zone of a very competitive League One and we are excitedly awaiting a trip to Wembley on the 7th April for the Bristol Street Motors Trophy vs Wycombe Wanderers.
